Not Now... exhibition 27th April London

I am knitting, felting, sewing, thrifting and generally making like a mad woman to finish my piece of work for the Not Now... exhibition.

Not decided on a title yet but I will be selling all my cookie cutter boys, girls and families at the PV and during the show to raise funds for Raffy to do the Son-Rise Program®. More images of work in progress (possibly with the battered and bruised hands in shot) and ongoing updates soon...

Raffy's Story..

We knew Raffy was different from other children from very early on, but we just put it down to having me as a dad. At around 18 months he was not far behind his peers but had some unusual behaviour, when he was around 23 months old he stopped eating and drinking completely and we had to feed him smoothies by oral syringe. slowly and with minor setbacks along the way we are now at the stage where he will chew biscuits and toast and eat either porridge or yoghurt (although he needs to be spoon fed by us). He is a very loving affectionate little boy (which is why we didn't suspect he was autistic for ages) but his social skills are very poor (again we put that down to me).

We are sure that the Son-Rise® program will help our little boy achieve all the potential that we can see trapped inside him...
